IT IS TIME…

Almost everyone is currently registered for our

North’s Regional Tournament.

A few things you need to know:

1. Teams do NOT need to register with OdysseyHQ (wildapricot.org site) this year.

We will run our Regional Competitions entirely with google forms for Texas. Register here.

HOWEVER:

2. Tournament fee payment is due January 15th. If you need an invoice, please ask.

3. View your

for North. This list will be updated every weekend. It includes your payment status and names of judge(s) and volunteer(s) who registered against your team.

4. TEAM SHIRTS are now available for preorders only until January 25th. Get your team’s order in. One consolidated order per team please. Details here.

5. Links will be here SOON to register your volunteers. JUDGES MUST BE SIGNED UP BY JANUARY 15th. HAVE YOUR JUDGES LINED UP NOW!!!!!!!

ALL TEAMS ARE RESPONSIBLE for providing ONE judge and two -3 HOUR volunteers.

Competition Information and schedule will be posted on our North Tournament page (click here) early February.

JUDGES:

-DO NOT have final say in the Problems that they judge, but may request a position and a Problem- BUT NO ONE MAY JUDGE THE PROBLEM WHERE THEIR CHILD IS COMPETING.

-WILL NOT see their children compete and

-MUST commit to completing the General Training online as well as completing the General Training Certification Test online before Sunday, February 16, 2025.

-AND ATTENDING PROBLEM SPECIFIC TRAINING

at THE CLARIDEN SCHOOL on February 21 at 6PM. DINNER WILL BE PROVIDED. BRING YOUR OWN DRINK.

-Judges are only required to judge at the state tournament if the team they represent advances to the State tournament.

-Judges are NOT REQUIRED for Primary teams; HOWEVER TWO half day volunteers are required for each Primary team.

Judges MUST BE Over 18 years old.

VOLUNTEERS:

-Do select their jobs.

-Job selections will be available the week or two before the tournament, once schedules are out so that selections may be made to coordinate with your team’s performance. HOWEVER selections will be made in the order that a volunteer signs up. Have your volunteers sign up AS SOON AS THE LINK IS POSTED.
